A Prepared Environment Where Wonder Thrives

Dr. Maria Montessori believed that children are naturally eager to learn when given the freedom to explore in a carefully prepared environment. Creative Spark reflects this philosophy, offering your child the gift of mixed-age learning alongside a small group of other children, creating the intimate family-like atmosphere that Montessori education celebrates.

Under the guidance of Chaya, an AMI-trained educator with extensive experience nurturing children from 15 months to six years, your child will discover the joy of independent learning while developing the concentration, coordination, and confidence that form the foundation for lifelong thriving.

Practical Life Rooted in Real Experience

Our program embraces the Montessori principle that children learn best through meaningful, real-world activities. Each day includes sharing organic, homemade vegetarian meals and snacks—your child will learn to plant, tend, harvest and wash vegetables from our garden, and participate in the sacred act of nourishing their community. These experiences develop fine motor skills, mathematical concepts, and a deep sense of contribution to the group.

Grace, Courtesy, and the Art of Peaceful Living

In our mixed-age environment for children ages 3 – 6, older children naturally become mentors while younger ones observe and aspire. We place special emphasis on grace and courtesy—not as rigid rules, but as beautiful expressions of respect for oneself, others, and the environment. Your child will learn to move with purpose, speak with kindness, and resolve conflicts peacefully, developing the social intelligence that will serve them throughout life.Write your text here...

Movement as the Foundation of Learning

Understanding that the hand is the instrument of the mind, our program integrates whole-body movement throughout the day. From tending our outdoor garden to engaging in purposeful indoor activities, children develop the gross and fine motor skills essential for later academic success. Our garden space provides endless opportunities for exploration, observation, and the deep satisfaction of caring for living things.

The Freedom to Become

At Creative Spark, children work at their own pace, choosing activities that call to their developing interests and abilities. This freedom, within the structure of our prepared environment, allows each child to develop intrinsic motivation, self-discipline, and the confidence that comes from authentic accomplishment.

Our outdoor garden becomes an extension of the classroom, where children observe the cycles of nature, develop responsibility through plant care, and experience the profound connection between their efforts and the food that nourishes their bodies.

An Investment in Your Child’s Future Self

Limited to just six children, our program offers the individual attention and community connection that allows each personality to flourish. Here, your child will not simply prepare for elementary school—they will develop the independence, empathy, and love of learning that will guide them toward becoming peaceful, capable, and confident human beings.

We invite you to visit our prepared environment and discover how Montessori education, rooted in respect for the child and connection to nature, can nurture your child’s unique gifts while building the foundation for a lifetime of joyful learning.
